We are actively seeking a remote Middle JavaScript Developer with expertise in React and AWS to join our global team. This role is designed for a developer who is eager to contribute to diverse projects and work within a supportive international environment. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in building and enhancing applications that have a significant impact on the business.
Responsibilities
- Develop user interfaces using React that are efficient and aesthetically pleasing
- Implement and manage web applications on AWS platforms
- Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and troubleshoot innovative solutions
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Write clean, scalable, and efficient code
- Participate in code reviews to maintain high development standards
- Stay updated with new programming tools and technologies
- Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies
Requirements
- At least 2 years of commercial experience in JavaScript development, specifically for web application development
- Proficiency in React or ReactJS for creating interactive UI components
- Experience with AWS to deploy and manage scalable applications
- Knowledge of Spring Boot for building microservices-based applications
- Familiarity with REST for integrating backend APIs
- Competence in unit testing with JUnit, TestNG, or Mockito to ensure code quality
- Proficiency in SQL for database management and query optimization
- Understanding of microservices architecture to develop independently deployable services
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English at a B2+ level
Nice to have
- Experience with NoSQL databases for handling large or unstructured data
- Familiarity with additional React libraries such as Redux and Next.js for state management and server-side rendering
- Knowledge of CI/CD practices to automate the development and deployment processes
