We are looking for a Middle JavaScript Developer to join our remote team.
Your primary focus will be developing and maintaining various applications utilizing your expertise in JavaScript and its related tools and frameworks. You will be responsible for designing and implementing backend services, APIs, and automated tests, leveraging your familiarity with running JS in AWS Lambdas.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop backend services and APIs using Node.js and AWS services
- Implement frontend components using ReactJS and automated testing using Cypress
- Write automated tests and ensure the quality of the codebase
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions
- Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and other team activities
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering practices and processes
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a JavaScript Developer with proficiency in ReactJS and Node.js
- Proficiency in TypeScript
- Hands-on experience in developing APIs and backend services using AWS services such as ECS/Fargate, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudFront
- Strong understanding of web technologies and protocols such as HTTP, REST, and JSON
- Experience in Agile software development methodologies and tools such as JIRA and Confluence
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
