Middle Java Developer

We are seeking a Middle Java Developer to join our remote team. Our company is engaged in a multi-year initiative to transform and modernize our legacy application suite into a SaaS-based solution, utilizing cutting-edge technologies and frameworks on Oracle Cloud. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a groundbreaking project that will redefine our enterprise software landscape.

Responsibilities
  • Automate the migration processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy
  • Develop control plans for automating provisioning and simplifying customer onboarding processes
  • Implement and maintain personal health record systems as part of the product offering
  • Design, develop, and maintain Java-based components and interfaces
  • Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, from concept to deployment
  • Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and design new features
  • Analyze user requirements to inform application design
  • Provide code documentation and other inputs to technical documents
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a similar field
  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a Java Developer
  • Proficiency in Spring Framework for building robust Java applications
  • Experience with JUnit for implementing unit tests in Java applications
  • Knowledge of CI/CD practices for automated software delivery pipelines
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes for managing containerized applications
  • Deep understanding of object-oriented design and SDK development within a cloud environment
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud infrastructure and services
  • Fluent in English, with a B2 level proficiency or higher
Nice to have
  • Proficiency in JavaScript for front-end development tasks
  • Knowledge of TypeScript for building scalable web applications
  • Experience with microservices architecture to build scalable and independently deployable software systems
