Middle Java Developer
We are seeking a Middle Java Developer to join our remote team. Our company is engaged in a multi-year initiative to transform and modernize our legacy application suite into a SaaS-based solution, utilizing cutting-edge technologies and frameworks on Oracle Cloud. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a groundbreaking project that will redefine our enterprise software landscape.
Responsibilities
- Automate the migration processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Develop control plans for automating provisioning and simplifying customer onboarding processes
- Implement and maintain personal health record systems as part of the product offering
- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based components and interfaces
- Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, from concept to deployment
- Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and design new features
- Analyze user requirements to inform application design
- Provide code documentation and other inputs to technical documents
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a similar field
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Java Developer
- Proficiency in Spring Framework for building robust Java applications
- Experience with JUnit for implementing unit tests in Java applications
- Knowledge of CI/CD practices for automated software delivery pipelines
- Familiarity with Kubernetes for managing containerized applications
- Deep understanding of object-oriented design and SDK development within a cloud environment
- Experience with Oracle Cloud infrastructure and services
- Fluent in English, with a B2 level proficiency or higher
Nice to have
- Proficiency in JavaScript for front-end development tasks
- Knowledge of TypeScript for building scalable web applications
- Experience with microservices architecture to build scalable and independently deployable software systems
