Middle Java Developer

We are seeking a skilled Middle Java Developer to join our remote team. As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions while ensuring adherence to software engineering concepts and methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Write high-quality, secure code that is modular, functional, and testable
- Research alternative technical solutions for changing business needs
- Manage the overall cloud architecture and investigate new technologies to help the platform evolve at the speed of business
- Create solutions with a high level of innovation, cost-effectiveness, high quality, and faster time to market
- Develop an overall strategic technical plan and create architecture proposals based on identified solution gaps
- Ensure adequate test coverage in Unit Testing, System Testing/Integration Testing, and Performance Testing
- Perform Quality Inspections and Walkthroughs throughout the SDLC to ensure compliance with MasterCard standards
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in Java development
- Strong background in Spring Boot, Hibernate, and PL/SQL
- Proficiency in ReactJS and Amazon Web Services
- Expertise in modern software design principles such as SOLID, DRY, and Single Responsibility
- Experience with cloud technologies such as IaaS, PaaS, serverless technology, and NoSQL databases
- Knowledge of Pivotal Cloud Foundry or any other cloud platform like AWS or Azure or GCP
- Experience in delivering secure solutions in the Financial Services Sector
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, and organizational skills
- Ability to quickly learn and implement new technologies, frameworks, and tools
- Fluent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
Nice to have
- Experience with DevOps and CI/CD
- Experience with Sonar integration
