Responsibilities
- Develop software applications using Java and associated frameworks
- Implement solutions using Apache Kafka for stream processing
- Design and maintain databases with PostgreSQL
- Utilize Google Cloud Platform services for deployment and storage
- Automate deployment processes using Jenkins and Docker
- Ensure application security with Spring Security
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements
- Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards
- Conduct testing and debugging to ensure software quality
- Document software designs and processes effectively
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Java development
- Experience with Apache Kafka for data streaming
- Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform and its services
- Background in PostgreSQL database design and management
- Familiarity with Spring Boot for building microservices
- Understanding of Docker for containerization
- Capability to use Jenkins for continuous integration
- Competency in implementing Spring Data for data access
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Google Cloud BigQuery
- Experience with Apache Airflow for workflow management
- Familiarity with Gradle for build automation
- Understanding of Flyway for database migrations
- Experience with Google Cloud Storage for data handling
