We are seeking a remote Middle Java Developer with 2+ years of relevant work experience to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining Java-based applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the scalability and performance of the software solutions.
Responsibilities
- Designing, coding, and debugging Java applications, adhering to best practices and coding standards
- Collaborating with software architects and developers to implement and integrate new features and enhancements
- Troubleshooting and resolving software defects and issues in a timely manner
- Participating in code reviews, ensuring the quality and maintainability of the codebase
- Developing and executing unit tests to verify the functionality of the applications
- Collaborating with the QA team to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.
Requirements
- 2+ years of relevant work experience as a Java Developer
- Proficiency in Java programming language and Java Bootstrapping Frameworks
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Familiarity with REST, SOAP, Spring HATEOAS, and web services
- Knowledge of AWS cloud services
- Familiarity with Docker, Helm, Java Microservice Infrastructure, Kubernetes, Microservice Architecture Pattern, and Terraform
- Exposure to ReactJS for front-end development
- Experience with Spring Batch, Spring Boot, and Spring Core frameworks
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools
- Knowledge of performance optimization techniques
