We are seeking an innovative and proactive Middle Java Developer to join our remote team, building and managing multiple complex integrations using a shared framework. You will be joining a collaborative agile team focused on enhancing and adding new features to our product aligned with business goals. As a Middle Java Developer, you will be responsible for continuously delivering solutions that enhance our SaaS platform capability.
Responsibilities
- Work with a distributed development team to continuously deliver solutions that enhance our SaaS platform capability
- Partner with our Business team and be part of the design discussions/decisions as well as implementing the designs
- Proactively contribute to sprint planning & backlog refinement sessions, daily stand-ups and retrospectives with our technology teams (Dev, Automated QA, UX/UI, Product)
- Work with our DevOps and Architecture teams to move to a continuous deployment model
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in application design and development in enterprise applications with Java and/or Python, OOP, Spring, JMS, Camel, leveraging AWS infrastructure
- Familiarity with RESTful as an API design and common Batch Processing Patterns
- Good Database application development experience with SQL or NoSQL databases
- Knowledge of Linux and shell scripting is an advantage
- Experience with git or other version control tools
- Experience with automated unit, component and integration testing
- Develop in accordance with best software engineering practice, helping to define development standards for the team
- Collaborate openly with the team on shared items of work and communicate well in a team-oriented environment across locations
- Some experience of front-end technologies or a desire to learn and advantage – React JS
- Fluent spoken and written English at an upper-intermediate level or higher
