We are seeking a talented Middle Java Developer to join our remote team, working within the life sciences and healthcare domain. As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative solutions to complex problems, utilizing your expertise in Java 8, Spring Boot, and Microservice Architecture Pattern. You will work closely with a cross-functional team of developers, designers, and business analysts to deliver high-quality software solutions to meet the needs of our clients. Responsibilities
- Design and develop software solutions using Java 8, Spring Boot, and Microservice Architecture Pattern
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, ensuring seamless integration with frontend applications
- Deploy and maintain cloud-based applications on Microsoft Azure, ensuring maximum uptime and performance
- Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Provide technical support to clients and end-users as needed
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in Java Development, with a focus on Java 8 and Spring Boot
- Solid understanding of Microservice Architecture Pattern and its implementation in software design
- Practical experience with Microsoft Azure, including deployment and maintenance of cloud-based applications
- Ability to develop and maintain RESTful APIs, ensuring seamless integration with frontend applications
- Experience with database design and management, including SQL and NoSQL databases
- Fluent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
Nice to have
- Experience with healthcare or life sciences domain
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and Ansible
