We are currently seeking a talented Middle Java Developer to join our remote team and work on an exciting project involving EIS Billing v12. Our client, a leading telecommunications company, is upgrading their billing system to the latest version and needs a developer with experience in EIS Billing v12 to join their team. As a Middle Java Developer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing new features and functionality for the billing system.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement new features and functionality for the EIS Billing v12 system
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement new features
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to other developers
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in the billing system
- Ensure the quality of the code by writing unit tests and integration tests
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in Java development
- Experience with EIS Billing v12
- Experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies
- Knowledge of RESTful web services and microservices architecture
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
- Experience with version control systems such as Git
- Experience with unit testing and integration testing
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English at an upper-intermediate level
Nice to have
- Experience with other billing systems such as Amdocs or CSG
- Experience with front-end development technologies such as Angular or React
- Experience with DevOps practices such as CI/CD
