Middle Java Developer

We are seeking a skilled Middle Java Developer to join our remote team, working with a global healthcare ISV and one of the top Electronic Medical Record (EMR) vendors. As a Middle Java Developer, you will play a vital role in the development of a modern SaaS-based solution using modern technologies and frameworks deployed on AWS cloud. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop software solutions, ensuring high standards of functionality and usability.

Responsibilities

Design and develop software solutions using Java and related technologies, ensuring high standards of functionality and usability
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and user needs
Participate in design and code reviews, offering input on requirements, product design, and potential challenges
Contribute to the development of REST-based microservices written in Java Spring Boot
Develop efficient and scalable software solutions using ReactJS and AWS
Ensure the quality control of software deliverables to meet the highest standards
Maintain a high level of performance even under pressure

Requirements

2+ years of experience in Java Development
In-depth knowledge of ReactJS, AWS, Spring Boot, and Oracle Database Platform
Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment, especially using Concourse CI or Jenkins
Excellent communication skills and strong critical thinking capabilities to effectively convey feedback and insights
Good organizational skills and a detail-oriented mindset, crucial for meticulous development efforts
Fluent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher

Nice to have

Experience with relational databases and NoSQL databases, especially Oracle
Familiarity with Ruby on Rails and their web application development framework
Exposure to Win32/64 based application development
