We are seeking a skilled Middle Java Developer to join our remote team, working with a leading investment banking firm. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining Java-based applications, ensuring the highest standards of quality and reliability. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and design solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications, ensuring the highest standards of quality and reliability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and design solutions that meet the needs of our clients
- Participate in code reviews, offering input on code quality, performance, and maintainability
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated test suites, ensuring comprehensive test coverage
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, user manuals, and release notes
- Participate in Agile project management methodologies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in Java development, demonstrating your proficiency in Java 8 and Spring frameworks
- Experience in Microservice Architecture Pattern, enabling you to design and develop scalable and flexible applications
- Experience on Azure Cloud migration project, demonstrating your ability to work with cloud-based solutions
- Practical experience in PL/SQL and database design, allowing you to design and maintain complex databases
- Proficiency in using Apache Maven, allowing you to manage project dependencies and build automation
- Working knowledge of GUI testing, enabling you to design and execute GUI test cases
- Fluent spoken and written English at an upper-intermediate level or higher

- Python coding and building analytical model, showcasing your experience in data analytics and modeling
