We are looking for a skilled Middle Java Developer with experience in Spring Boot, Amazon Web Services, ReactJS, Apache Maven, and Gradle to join our remote team. Our client is a global healthcare ISV and one of the top Electronic Medical Record (EMR) vendors. As a Middle Java Developer, you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining web-based applications and services, contributing to the success of this project.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to conceptualize, design, develop, and deploy robust and scalable web-based applications and services
- Develop and maintain microservices using Spring Boot and deploy them on AWS cloud
- Engage in Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) activities to maintain high development standards
- Identify and troubleshoot issues promptly to uphold application performance and user experience
- Optimize and fine-tune application performance to ensure enhanced scalability
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in Java development, with a strong focus on Spring Boot
- In-depth knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and experience in deploying and maintaining cloud-based applications
- Proficiency in ReactJS, Apache Maven, and Gradle, enabling you to build and maintain robust applications
- Experience in designing and developing microservices architecture solutions
- Strong command of SQL and experience with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Oracle
- Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment using Concourse CI or Jenkins
- Proficient in JavaScript, with experience in ReactJS
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work in cross-functional teams
- Fluent English language skills with an Upper-Intermediate level
Nice to have
- Experience with OSS Cloud Foundry, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, or Pivotal Web Services
- Experience with relational databases and NoSQL databases, especially Oracle
- Experience in migrating legacy applications to modern web stacks
