Middle Java Developer

We are seeking a skilled Middle Java Developer to join our remote team and be a part of our mission to enable better healthcare experiences. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining backend solutions that ensure the seamless functioning of our healthcare products.

Responsibilities

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement backend solutions for healthcare products
Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code in Java and GRails
Developing and maintaining AWS infrastructure components such as EC2, S3, and Lambda
Creating and maintaining PostgreSQL databases and performing database optimization
Developing and maintaining microservices using Spring Boot and other relevant frameworks
Ensuring the scalability, reliability, and performance of the backend solutions
Participating in code reviews, ensuring code quality, and adhering to coding standards

Requirements

2+ years of experience in Java development
Strong experience with Spring Boot
Solid understanding of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and proficiency in working with Amazon Redshift
Expertise in ReactJS and JavaScript
Experience with PostgreSQL and microservices architecture
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
Fluent English language skills with an Upper-Intermediate level

Nice to have

Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and development practices
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools such as Jenkins and Ansible
