We are seeking a skilled Middle Java Developer to join our remote team and work on an exciting new project. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the backend of our application. Our application is built on a microservices architecture with Java backend and React frontend. The ideal candidate will have experience with Spring Framework, AWS, and REST API development, as well as strong programming skills in Java.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop new features and enhancements for our application
  • Maintain and enhance existing features with a focus on scalability, performance, and maintainability
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code that meets coding standards and best practices
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to other developers
  • Ensure the quality of code through testing and debugging
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience as a Java Developer
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Strong programming skills in Java
  • Proficiency in Spring Framework and Spring Boot
  • Experience with REST API development
  • Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and cloud infrastructure
  • Experience in React js
  • Experience with Git/Bitbucket and Jenkins for version control and continuous integration
  • Experience with Kubernetes and Docker for containerization
  • Knowledge of Oracle for database management
  • Experience with Apache Kafka for messaging and streaming data
  • Experience with Junit & Mockito for testing
  • Fluent English language skills with a minimum of Upper-Intermediate level
Nice to have
  • Familiarity with Redis for caching
  • Knowledge of Swagger for API documentation
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban
