Middle Java Developer

We are seeking a skilled Middle Java Developer to join our remote team, working on the platform for data production and consumption. Our company is committed to delivering innovative solutions to our clients, and you will play a critical role in designing and developing Restful API/Webservices for this platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather and refine specifications and requirements, analyze and optimize performance and resiliency of backend end applications, and develop highly testable applications following enterprise design and integration patterns.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop high-quality software solutions that meet project requirements
  • Collaborate with other developers and departments to ensure that project goals are met
  • Test and debug code to ensure that it is of the highest quality
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure that best practices and coding standards are followed
  • Maintain and improve existing codebase
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in Java development
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in Java development, demonstrating your proficiency in Java programming language and associated frameworks
  • Experience in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microservice Architecture Pattern, showcasing your expertise in cloud-based solutions and microservices
  • Experience in React js
  • Experience in developing Restful API/Webservices and working with Spring Boot, highlighting your knowledge of RESTful web services and Spring Boot framework
  • Strong understanding of Agile Software methodologies for development, ensuring you can follow agile software development practices
  • Good peer code review skills, allowing you to provide constructive feedback to team members
  • Ability to write automated unit, feature, integration, and regression test suites, ensuring high-quality software delivery
  • Fluent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
Nice to have
  • Experience in developing and deploying applications on Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF)
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience in working with NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Cassandra
