We are seeking a talented Middle Java Developer to join our remote team, contributing to the development of a cutting-edge Business Information & Media platform that is revolutionizing the industry. As a Middle Java Developer, you will work with a team of experienced developers and collaborate with stakeholders to design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions. Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions using Java and related technologies
- Contribute to the development of new features and enhancements, ensuring they meet business requirements and are scalable and maintainable
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide technical guidance and support
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, adhering to coding standards and best practices
- Participate in testing and quality assurance efforts, including writing and executing unit and integration tests
- Troubleshoot and debug issues, providing timely resolutions and ensuring application stability
- Continuously learn and stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in Java development, with a strong understanding of Java 8 and its features
- Expertise in Spring Framework, including Spring Security and Spring MVC, and experience in developing web applications
- Proficiency in Oracle RDBMS, with experience in designing and optimizing database schemas and queries
- Strong hands-on experience with cloud Azure
- Experience in testing frameworks such as JUnit and TestNG, and ability to write unit and integration tests
- Working knowledge of Hibernate, with experience in mapping objects to relational databases
- Fluent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
Nice to have
- Experience with microservices architecture and related technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and related tools such as JIRA and Confluence
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools such as Jenkins and Git
