We are seeking a highly skilled Middle Java Developer to join our remote team. As a Middle Java Developer, you will play a vital role in designing and developing microservices architecture solutions, collaborating with key stakeholders, and contributing to the enhancement of user experiences. Responsibilities
- Design and develop microservices architecture solutions using Java/SpringBoot
- Collaborate closely with key product stakeholders to identify and resolve design issues, ensuring seamless and user-centered designs
- Streamline design processes for on-suite projects, optimizing efficiency and effectiveness
- Initiate the creation of a new product by conducting thorough research to understand business and user needs, and facilitating design workshops
- Organize and lead design critique sessions with the team, fostering a collaborative environment for constructive feedback
- Provide assistance and support to designers during project Discovery and ideation phases, contributing to innovative design solutions
- Review and ensure the quality control of design deliverables to meet the highest standards
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in Java development, demonstrating proficiency in Java, Spring, and Spring Boot
- Experience in designing and developing microservices architecture solutions using Java/SpringBoot
- Experience with relational databases and NoSQL databases, especially Oracle
- Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment, especially using Concourse CI or Jenkins
- Experience with JavaScript, especially ReactJS is a plus
- Experience with AWS is highly desired
- Experience with OSS Cloud Foundry, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, or Pivotal Web Services is a big plus
- Fluent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
Nice to have
- Experience with React Native or other mobile app development frameworks
- Experience with DevOps tools such as Terraform or Ansible
- Experience with Kubernetes or other container orchestration tools
- Experience with other cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform or Microsoft Azure
