We are looking for a Middle Java Developer to join our remote team and build scalable, extensible, and maintainable solutions.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in the Java ecosystem, including REST, Spring, and JPA, experience with Spring Boot, microservices, and basic knowledge of Amazon Web Services. You should also be comfortable using data structures and algorithms to solve complex problems and have experience in agile software development. We're looking for someone who is self-driven and passionate about technology and its possibilities for our systems' users.
Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality software solutions for our Content Product Master
- Collaborate with other software engineers and cross-functional teams
- Evangelize technologies, solutions, and best practices
- Contribute new ideas to a larger community of high-caliber professionals
- Balance resources, requirements, and complexity
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in Java development, with a focus on REST, Spring, and JPA
- Experience with Spring Boot and microservices
- Basic knowledge of Amazon Web Services
- Comfortable with DevOps culture including Continuous Delivery, deployments in the cloud (ideally AWS), fully automated, Docker
- Familiarity with GraphQL is ideal
- Capability to use data structures and algorithms to solve problems
- Smart, self-driven with a keen focus on and track record of exceptional delivery of enterprise-class solutions
- Experience in agile software development
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
