We are seeking a skilled Middle Java Developer to join our remote team. As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for developing software solutions that meet the highest standards of functionality, usability, and reliability. You will work in a cross-functional team, collaborating with other developers, designers, and business analysts to create cutting-edge software that improves the healthcare experience for millions of people worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-quality software solutions that meet business requirements and adhere to coding standards and best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues and ensure seamless integration of software components
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, ensuring the scalability and reliability of software applications
- Contribute to the development of software architecture and design, ensuring the alignment of technical solutions with business needs
- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to improve code quality and maintainability
- Ensure the timely delivery of software solutions, adhering to project timelines and milestones
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development, sharing your knowledge and expertise with the team
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or similar technical field of study
- 2+ years of experience in large systems software design and development with hands-on experience in RESTful APIs
- 2+ years of professional web development experience using Java for enterprise applications
- In-depth knowledge of Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST API, highlighting your expertise in creating scalable and maintainable applications
- Proficiency in Amazon Web Services (ECS, S3), enabling you to work with cloud infrastructure and services
- Strong technical expertise in React.js
- Fluent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Netflix OSS, enabling you to work with a suite of open-source tools for building scalable and resilient microservices
- Knowledge of XML, JSON, and ETL, highlighting your proficiency in data interchange and transformation processes
