Middle Functional Tester for Retail Company

Currently, we are looking for a Remote Middle Functional Tester to join our team.

The customer is an Irish fast fashion retailer with headquarters in Dublin, Ireland. It offers a diverse range of products, including baby and children's clothing, womenswear, menswear, homeware, accessories, footwear, beauty products and confectionery. The company has operations in Europe and the United States, owns over 390 stores across 12 countries.

Responsibilities
  • Test CMS & Search functionalities both front end & API layers
  • Validate software requirements and get clarifications on one's doubts
  • Become familiar with the software under test and any other software related to it
  • Procure or create test data required for testing
  • Create test documents/artifacts - test cases, test results, test rports, bug reports
  • Build test cases based on the requirements and other documents
  • Report test results
  • Support the team with testing tasks as required
  • Keep himself/herself up-to-date on the overview of the development technology, the popular testing tools (e.g. automated testing tools and test management systems) and the overview of the business domain
Requirements
  • 2+ years of working experience  as Quality Assurance Engineer
  • Good experience in Manual Testing of Web applications
  • Experience of API testing
  • Advanced skills in requirements analysis
  • Deep understanding and experience in software development life cycle
  • Excellent skills of reading and analysing logs to identify root cause of a defect
  • Ability to prioritise test cases based on risk analysis
  • Knowledge and understanding CI\CD
  • Intermediate English level
  • Strong communication skills
Nice to have
  • Integration testing using SOAP UI/Postman
