Middle DevOps Engineer (GCP)

We're looking for a Middle DevOps Engineer to join our remote SRE team, focusing on maintaining a CI/CD framework, integrating observatory stack, supporting applications, helping product teams to fix issues, and improving products' reliability and automation.
As a member of our team, you will analyze and discover how all components of a distributed system work together using a broad range of skills and tools. To succeed in this role, you should be an autonomous individual capable of making decisions.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and improve the LightOps monitoring system
- Manage incident troubleshooting, resolution, documentation, and post-mortem analysis
- Develop knowledge sharing and playbook
- Be a bridge between operations and engineering teams
- Ensure infrastructure performance and capacity planning
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals
- Engage with your mentor for continuous learning and development of technical and soft skills
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineer role
- Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform and its services
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization
- Proficiency in Python
- Experience with infrastructure performance and capacity planning
- Familiarity with NAT, DNS, and DHCP
- Proficiency in Git and PagerDuty
- Expertise in database skills such as MongoDB, Oracle, and PostgreSQL
- Experience in disaster recovery, including backup geo-redundancy and recovery scripting
- Upper-intermediate level of English proficiency (B2+)
Nice to have
- GCP certification
- Experience with Grafana and Prometheus for observability and monitoring
- Solid programming skills with Golang
- Familiarity with Elasticsearch
