Middle DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated Middle DevOps Engineer to join our remote team and work on exciting projects. Our client is a leading provider of software solutions for the healthcare industry, and as a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that the company's cloud infrastructure is secure, scalable, and reliable. You will work closely with the development team to help them deploy their applications and services to AWS and other cloud platforms.
Responsibilities
- Resolve major incidents (P1-P2) and process service requests from developers
- Design and implement improvements to the infrastructure and applications
- Conduct problem management, including reviewing and implementing solutions to recurring issues
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure that their applications and services are deployed correctly and efficiently
- Ensure that the company's cloud infrastructure is secure, scalable, and reliable
- Automate infrastructure deployment, scaling, and management processes
- Monitor and analyze system performance metrics to identify and resolve issues proactively
- Ensure that all infrastructure and applications are compliant with security and compliance policies
- Create and maintain documentation related to the infrastructure and applications
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer
- Strong Linux skills, with experience in managing Linux servers and troubleshooting issues
- Practical experience in AWS, including EC2, SQS, SNS, and RDS
- Expertise in containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes, with experience in using Red Hat OpenShift being an advantage
- Experience with monitoring tools, including Prometheus and Grafana, and knowledge of Splunk, Dynatrace, or New Relic being an advantage
- Experience with log management tools, such as ELK or Graylog
- Expertise in using CI/CD tools, such as Jenkins and Gitlab CI, with knowledge of pipeline as code
- Experience with configuration management tools, such as Ansible
- Experience with message brokers, such as Active MQ, with knowledge of AWS SQS being an advantage
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English at a B2+ level
