We are seeking a talented Middle DevOps Engineer to join our remote team, working with a leading technology company in the cloud computing industry. As a Middle DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing legacy technologies within scope, identifying requirements to migrate to modernized platforms, and designing and delivering multiple projects within given budget and timelines. You will also analyze client requirements and formulate requirements documents, contributing to the development of innovative solutions that drive business value.
Responsibilities
- Perform analysis of legacy technologies within scope, to identify scope/timeline and requirements to migrate to modernized platforms selected
- Design and deliver multiple projects within given budget and timelines, ensuring high-quality deliverables
- Analyze client requirements and formulate requirements documents, contributing to the development of innovative solutions that drive business value
- Deploy and manage containerized applications using Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure, including network, security, and performance
- Maintain documentation for infrastructure and processes, ensuring that it is up to date and accurate
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and trends in DevOps and cloud computing, sharing knowledge with the team
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in Amazon Web Services, demonstrating your proficiency in cloud computing technologies
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Hands-on experience with Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS), showcasing your ability to deploy and manage containerized applications
- Experience in designing, implementing, and managing CI/CD pipelines, using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or CircleCI
- Expertise in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to cloud infrastructure, including network, security, and performance
- Strong focus on teamwork and exceptional interpersonal skills, allowing you to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work independently and manage stress effectively, maintaining a high level of performance even under pressure
- Fluent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
Nice to have
- Experience with other cloud service providers such as Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform
- Familiarity with serverless computing technologies like AWS Lambda or Azure Functions
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack
- Previous experience with configuration management tools like Ansible or Chef
- Understanding of Agile methodologies
