We are looking for a Middle DevOps Engineer with experience in Amazon Web Services to join our team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will work on a project that involves provisioning, operating, and maintaining systems running on AWS. You will be responsible for identifying and gathering requirements to define a solution to be built and operated on AWS, providing AWS operations and deployment guidance and best practices throughout the lifecycle of a project. You will also be responsible for designing high available solutions on AWS across availability zones and regions.
Responsibilities
- Provision, operate, and maintain systems running on AWS
- Identify and gather requirements to define a solution to be built and operated on AWS
- Provide AWS operations and deployment guidance and best practices throughout the lifecycle of a project
- Design high available solutions on AWS across availability zones and regions
- Deploy applications and migrate data on AWS for different regions
- Develop and maintain an Amazon AWS based cloud solution with an emphasis on best practice cloud security
- Monitor and troubleshoot AWS issues
- Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to ensure smooth deployment and operation of systems on AWS
- Provide technical support to the project team and clients
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in DevOps and AWS
- Experience with Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS), Docker, Jenkins, and Terraform
- Familiarity with a broad range of EC2, S3, Glacier, IAM
- Knowledge of CloudWatch, and KMS
- Experience in designing high available solutions on AWS across availability zones and regions
- Knowledge of AWS Security Groups, VPC, IAM Roles and Policies
- Experience with Cloud Watch, SSL Certs, and Auto Scaling Groups
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English at a B2+ level
Nice to have
- Experience with other cloud platforms, such as Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform
- Experience with configuration management tools, such as Ansible or Chef
- Experience with container orchestration tools, such as Kubernetes
- Certification in AWS or related fields
