We are seeking a highly skilled Middle DevOps Engineer to join our remote team, responsible for the development, deployment, and maintenance of our Amazon Web Services infrastructure. As a Middle DevOps Engineer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the availability and reliability of our services. Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain our Amazon Web Services infrastructure, ensuring high availability and reliability of our services
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline deployment and infrastructure management tasks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve infrastructure-related issues, providing valuable insights and recommendations
- Implement and maintain monitoring and logging solutions to ensure optimal performance and availability of our services
- Stay up-to-date with the latest DevOps practices and technologies, sharing your knowledge and expertise with the team
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices and standards for DevOps processes
- Contribute to the development of disaster recovery and business continuity plans, ensuring the availability and reliability of our services in the event of a disaster
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in Amazon Web Services, demonstrating your proficiency in designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure
- Expertise in Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, Scripting Languages, and Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service, enabling you to automate infrastructure and deployment tasks
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevOps practices, including continuous integration and delivery, infrastructure as code, and monitoring and logging
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to identify and resolve complex issues in a timely manner
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset, allowing you to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining a high level of performance even under pressure
- Fluent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
Nice to have
- Experience with other cloud-based infrastructure providers, such as Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform
- Familiarity with other automation and configuration management tools, such as Ansible or Chef
- Knowledge of security best practices for cloud-based infrastructure and services
- Experience with serverless computing and container orchestration tools, such as AWS Lambda and Amazon ECS
