We are seeking a Middle DevOps Engineer to join our remote team and contribute to the development of our Entitlements platform, which provides one-point authorization as a cloud solution. This project utilizes AWS lambdas, SQS, SNS, S3, Jenkins, .Net Core, and Docker. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the platform, including deployment, monitoring, and automation.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain the platform's infrastructure on AWS using Terraform and other infrastructure-as-code tools
- Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline deployment and maintenance processes
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure that the platform is designed for optimal performance, scalability, and reliability
- Implement and maintain monitoring and logging solutions to ensure the platform's health and performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the platform's infrastructure and deployment processes
- Participate in the development of disaster recovery and business continuity plans
- Ensure that the platform's security posture meets industry standards and best practices
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, with a focus on AWS environments
- Expertise in Amazon Web Services, including EC2, S3, RDS, and VPC
- Proficiency in containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with Terraform and other infrastructure-as-code tools
- Ability to work with Jenkins or other CI/CD tools
- Familiarity with .Net Core and C#
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, and load balancing
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, ELK, and Prometheus
- Knowledge of security best practices for cloud environments
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English at an upper-intermediate level
Nice to have
- Experience with other cloud providers such as Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform
- Familiarity with serverless technologies such as AWS Lambda
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Bash
- Experience with Git or other version control systems
- Certifications in AWS or DevOps-related fields
