We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Middle DevOps professional with a strong background in AWS to join our remote team.
As a DevOps specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving our infrastructure and development processes. Your expertise in Amazon Web Services, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Ruby will be vital for the success of our projects. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver top-notch solutions to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain AWS-based infrastructure, including provisioning, configuration, and monitoring
- Implement and manage containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration systems like Kubernetes
- Use Helm for streamlined deployment and management of applications on Kubernetes
- Develop and maintain scripts in Python, Bash, or Ruby to automate various tasks and workflows
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration, continuous delivery, and deployment processes
- Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize system resources for optimal efficiency
- Implement security best practices and ensure the integrity and confidentiality of data
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment-related issues promptly
Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant work experience in a DevOps role, with a focus on AWS-based environments
- Proficiency in Amazon Web Services (AWS), including but not limited to EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, and VPC
- Hands-on experience with Docker containerization and Kubernetes orchestration
- Familiarity with Helm for managing Kubernetes applications
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Ruby for automation and infrastructure management
- Proven experience working with EKS (Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a B2+ English level
- Solid understanding of CI/CD (Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment) practices
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex system issues efficiently
