We are looking for a remote Middle Cloud Platform Developer to join our remote team.

As a Middle Cloud Platform Developer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure on various platforms for our remote team. Your expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and other cloud technologies will be instrumental in delivering robust and scalable solutions. This remote position requires a strong English proficiency level (B2+).

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles on GCP
  • Implement Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and automation workflows using tools like GitHub Actions to streamline application deployment
  • Perform thorough analysis of existing cloud systems and services, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing optimizations for enhanced performance
  • Work closely with the Client's development team to integrate new features and functionalities into the cloud environment
  • Adhere to industry best practices, standards, and internal guidelines to ensure secure and efficient cloud solutions
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates, addressing queries, and offering technical support as needed
Requirements
  • Extensive hands-on experience in complex networking on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including network segmentation, strict rule management, and working with multiple zones
  • Proficiency in GCP Identity and Access Management (IAM), including the creation and management of custom roles and service accounts
  • Strong familiarity with Terraform (Enterprise) for provisioning and managing cloud infrastructure
  • Proven expertise in building and automating common changes centrally, such as Local Zones (LZ), firewalls (FW), and networks
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and practical experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Enterprise, jFrog Artifactory, and Artifact Registry, as well as TFE (Terraform Enterprise)
  • In-depth knowledge of Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) and Istio, including IAM and networking configurations
  • Proficiency in implementing VPC Service Controls (VPC SC) and IAM conditions to enhance cloud security
  • Experience in capacity management, reservations, and backups within a cloud environment
  • Sound understanding of certificate management and DNS setups, including hybrid and on-premises configurations
  • Previous experience working in enterprise environments with complex requirements, diverse entities under different regulations, and the need for segregation of duties
  • Ability to handle responsive support and adapt to unclear/changing RACIs (Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, Informed)
Nice to have
  • Familiarity with other cloud platforms like AWS and Azure, along with their respective services
  • Practical experience with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes and Docker
  • Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools used in cloud environments
  • Understanding of security best practices for cloud-based applications
  • Experience in hybrid cloud setups and integrating on-premises systems with cloud infrastructure
