We are looking for a Middle Azure DevOps to join our remote team.
Your primary focus will be on building, deploying, and maintaining cloud applications using Microsoft Azure as the primary platform. You will be responsible for creating and deploying Infrastructure as Code (IaC), utilizing Azure ARM templates and PowerShell scripting to automate deployment. Your knowledge of Azure DevOps and GitHub will assist in the continuous integration and delivery of the applications. You will work closely with the client representative, requiring an upper-intermediate level of English proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Provide development environment support and troubleshooting
- Support automation through PowerShell scripting, DSC, monitoring, and alerting
- Develop IaaC scripts, including ARM and Terraform
- Optimize performance and cost of applications deployed to Azure
- Ensure successful deployment of applications
- Collaborate with the client representative and other cross-functional teams to achieve project goals
- Work with a mentor to enhance skills, adapt to the company's processes, and meet project targets
Requirements
- 2+ years experience working with Microsoft Azure, including Azure Networking, Azure Kubernetes Service, and Storage Accounts
- Hands-on experience in Azure PaaS services
- Prior experience in PowerShell scripting and Infrastructure automation
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) like Azure ARM Template/Terraform/Biceps templates
- Understanding of the deployment of Infrastructure and Application build using YAML or DevOps Classic Pipelines
- Working knowledge of Azure DevOps (ADO) projects
- Fluent English communication skills
Nice to have
- Good knowledge of GitHub e.g. creation of repositories, branching, pull requests, etc.
- Familiarity with .NET programming language
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices
- Experience with Cloud Monitoring such as Azure Monitor and DataDog
- Proficiency in Docker and Helm
