We are looking for a skilled and experienced remote Middle AWS Engineer with a deep understanding of IAM and AWS Networking to join our team. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing, managing, and ensuring the security and best practices of our IAM and AWS network infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and scripting languages like Bash and Python. This role requires excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of IAM and AWS network technologies.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a secure and scalable IAM and AWS network infrastructure
- Develop and implement best practices for IAM and network security
- Implement solutions for complex network challenges, leveraging a deep understanding of AWS networking services
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives and compliance requirements
- Drive continuous improvement through automation, optimization, and adoption of new technologies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 2+ years of relevant professional experience
- Deep understanding of IAM best practices and AWS networking services (VPCs, Direct Connect, Transit Gateways, etc.)
- Hands-on expertise with network security tools (firewalls, etc.)
- Knowledge of cloud security architectures and best practices
- Strong understanding of automation scripting (Python, Terraform, etc.) and infrastructure as code principles
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in English at an Upper-Intermediate level
