An experienced Middle AWS Engineer is sought for our remote team, particularly one with a profound knowledge of IAM and AWS Networking.
The main role will be to manage and implement our IAM and AWS network infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform and scripting languages like Bash/Python. As a key team member, you'll be responsible for setting and enforcing best practices and security while addressing AWS requests. Your technical and communication skills will be crucial in driving our company's success.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring a scalable and secure IAM and AWS network infrastructure
- Creating and enforcing best practices for IAM and network security, which includes multi-factor authentication, least privilege access, and network segmentation
- Providing solutions for complex network challenges based on a deep understanding of AWS networking services like VPCs, Direct Connect, Transit Gateways
- Working alongside cross-functional teams (security, DevOps) to align with business goals and compliance requirements
- Promoting continuous improvement through automation, optimization, and use of new technologies
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in AWS networking and IAM management
- Proficiency in AWS IAM, Amazon Web Services, Network Security, Network basics, Scripting Languages, and Terraform
- Familiarity with network security tools, for example, firewalls
- Comprehensive understanding of cloud security architectures and best practices
- Advanced knowledge of automation scripting (Python, Terraform) and infrastructure as code principles
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
- An upper-intermediate level of English
