We are looking for a Middle Automation Tester in .NET to join our remote team.
In this role, you will be responsible for automated testing in .NET using Selenium and JavaScript, as well as manual API testing with Postman and UI testing to verify new features and functionality. You will analyze regression results and determine if bugs are needed or if tests need to be updated. You will also work with developers and product owners to validate acceptance criteria and participate in scrum meetings to ensure quality when writing and refining stories. The ideal candidate will have experience in API testing using Postman, Selenium test automation (preferably C#), and manual testing and defect reporting.
Responsibilities
- Conduct manual API testing with Postman and UI testing to verify new features and functionality
- Write and maintain API regression tests using Postman Automation (JavaScript) and UI regression tests in Selenium using C#
- Analyze regression results to determine if bugs are needed or if the tests need to be updated
- Investigate and create test plans when working on new projects
- Validate acceptance criteria with developers and product owners
- Participate in scrum meetings by raising questions and guiding the team to focus on quality when writing and refining stories
- Demonstrate new features and tests to the entire team
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in automated testing in .NET
- Proficiency in Selenium for .NET
- Experience in JavaScript and Postman for API testing
- Knowledge of test plan development and web service/API testing
- Experience with Azure DevOps and Scrum methodologies
- Excellent communication skills to work closely with developers and product owners
- Fluent in English with at least an Upper-Intermediate level of competency
