We are looking for a Middle Automation Tester with 2+ years of relevant work experience in JavaScript to join our remote team. As a Middle Automation Tester, you will be responsible for creating and executing automated tests to ensure the quality of our web applications. You will work closely with our development team to identify and report bugs and issues in a timely and efficient manner.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for UI and API testing
- Collaborate with developers and product owners to ensure that user stories, acceptance criteria, and other requirements are well defined and testable
- Participate in test planning and strategy discussions, and provide input on testability, quality, and performance
- Execute automated tests and analyze test results to identify defects, and work with the development team to ensure timely resolution of issues
- Continuously evaluate and improve our testing processes, tools, and frameworks to optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of our automated testing efforts
Requirements
- 2+ years of relevant work experience in JS automation testing
- Strong experience with JavaScript programming language and related technologies
- Hands-on experience with UI test automation using Selenium WebDriver and/or Protractor and/or WebdriverIO and/or Cypress and/or Puppeteer, and/or API test automation using SuperTest and/or Jest and/or Mocha
- Experience with test frameworks such as Protractor, WebdriverIO, Cypress, Mocha, Jest, Jasmine, and Puppeteer
- Familiarity with cloud technologies, particularly AWS
- B2+ level of English language proficiency
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Node.js
- Experience with build tools such as npm and yarn
- Knowledge of loggers such as Log4js and Winston
- Experience with code analysis tools such as SonarQube, eslint, and istanbul
- Understanding of databases such as SQL and noSQL
