We are currently looking for a remote Middle Automation Tester in Java to join the team.
The client is a global leader in retail and wholesale pharmacy, touching millions of lives every day through dispensing and distributing medicines. The company has more than 170 years of trusted healthcare heritage and innovation in community pharmacy and pharmaceutical wholesaling.
Responsibilities
- Review business requirement document and software requirement documents, test cases and their execution, also coordinate with developers to fix defects
- Work in accordance with Scrum methodology in cross-functional teams
- Analyze bug severity, report bugs and prioritize the issues based on importance and urgency
- Perform manual certification testing in absence of suitable automation scripts, code base, infra or environment
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience with Automation Testing in Java
- Experience in Backend testing (REST) and respective tools (Postman, Altair)
- Experience in automation mainly based on Java, RestAssured, and jUnit 5 or TestNG framework
- Experience with automated test execution and maintenance, including TAF extension
- Experience with project building tools: Gradle
- Expertise in performing different types of Testing: White Box testing, System Testing, Integration Testing, Regression Testing, Ad-hoc testing, Acceptance Testing, Sanity Testing, Back End and API Testing of web services
- Strong understanding of testing strategies
- Strong knowledge of all phases of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Bug life Cycle
- Knowledge of Agile software testing and development lifecycle
- Good communication skills
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Spring Boot is an advantage
- Experience with GraphQL is a plus
- Knowledge of SQL and experience with non-RDB (such as CosmosDB or MongoDB) is an advantage
