Middle Automation Tester in Java

Currently, we are looking for a remote Middle Automation Tester in Java.

The customer is an American video game and software developer and publisher, developing commercially available game engine which also powers their internally developed video games.

Responsibilities
  • Communication with developers for fixing defects and with requirements stakeholders (BA, PO, etc) for business requirements
  • Develop test strategy for new features and related test scenarios
  • Build low layers for TAF architecture: page level and business level logic for UI automation
  • Performing coverage of manual tests by automation; support existing test scripts
  • Providing summary result to the entire team by analyzing nightly regression run and smoke after any master update
  • Execute end to end testing scenarios in an automated fashion in the backend processes
  • Help establish automated testing framework in case of dependencies updates
  • Document test cases
  • Document automation backlog
  • Analyze logs for troubleshooting (Grafana, Kibana, New Relic, Sumo Logic)
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in AT in Java
  • Expertise in performing different types of Testing: Black Box and White Box testing, Integration Testing, Regression Testing, Sanity Testing, Back End Testing, GUI Testing, Adhoc Testing and API Testing on web services (REST)
  • Good experience in reviewing business requirement , test cases and their execution
  • Expert level of BE or FE automation (experience in both is a huge plus)
  • Experience is supporting and extending TAF
  • Experience of working with Postman
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, TeamCity) and concepts
  • Experience of working with GIT
  • Experienced in automation mainly based on WebDriver and TestNG framework with Java programming language
  • Experience in Spring
  • Knowledge of no-SQL databases(ElasticSearch, Radis, DynamoDB, Mongo)
Nice to have
  • Experience/Familiarity with REST Assured is desirable
  • Familiarity with build tools (Maven, Gradle) is desirable
