We are looking for a talented Middle Android Developer to join our Agile team and work on an exciting project that involves developing a set of tools to enable developers to more accurately and efficiently build UIs that drive product success among our client ecosystem of products.
You will work on connecting tooling for adherence via design tokens, validation of UI that actually gets built, and pre-submit validation that material-related UI code matches desired practices.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the token generator code supporting Android and Web token outputs for Material Design tokens and other design systems
- Develop tooling to identify and report data about UI components in an Android app
- Develop pre-submits to check for the use of tokens, components, or other UI development features
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery
- Write testable code and unit tests to ensure high-quality deliverables
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes
- Work with your mentor to enhance your technical and soft skills
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in Android Development
- Strong knowledge of Android and Kotlin programming languages
- Experience in writing testable code and unit tests
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Upper-Intermediate level of English language proficiency
Nice to have
- Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies
- Experience in Git version control system
- Knowledge of Python programming language
