Middle 2nd Line/Environments Support Engineer for an Apparel and Footwear Company

We are currently looking for a remote Middle 2nd Line/Environments Support Engineer with Magento experience and familiarity with the Magento eCommerce platform to join our team.

The customer is an apparel and footwear company that controls over 30 brands related to informal and sportswear and thousands of stores in the four corners of the globe.

The objective of this project is to assist the customer in the execution of its business processes, through the investigation and resolution of application issues or assistance with functional questions related to the Magento Applications and related to all the integrations with third-party systems.

Responsibilities
  • Incremental development
  • Bug Fixing
  • System Administration (Backups, DB maintenance)
  • Product Catalog Maintenance (Content Formatting, SEO Compliance, Image Touch-Ups, etc.)
  • System Monitoring and Problem Solving
  • A/B Testing (upon specific request)
  • Provide Analytics Reports and Recommendations
  • eCommerce Platform SEO Support (upon specific request)
  • Critical Support with guaranteed response time
  • Site up monitoring
  • User flow monitoring (browse site, add/remove/update cart, checkout)
  • eCommerce store backend monitoring (up to 2 critical integrations such as payment and taxation services)
  • Weekly status meetings and quarterly business planning meetings
Requirements
  • Experience with Magento
  • Knowledge of Magento eCommerce platform
  • Knowledge of e-commerce data organization and relationships
  • Good client-facing communication skills
  • English level proficiency B1
