Maintenance & Support Team Lead

We are looking for a skilled Maintenance & Support Team Lead to join our team. In this role, you will manage the team responsible for production support of the business critical systems including incident management, bug fixes and minor enhancements. You will be responsible for managing and supervising the day-to-day activities surrounding the production support of these systems.
You will be leading a team of highly skilled, cross-functional software engineers and coordinating with other stakeholders to provide robust planning and execution against assigned deliverables. Ideally, you should have experience mobilizing and shaping technical teams and must have excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage the team responsible for production support of two business critical systems including incident management, bug fixes, and minor enhancements
- Coordinate and contribute hands-on to the technical work assigned to the team
- Manage and prioritize incidents and problems as they arise and assign resources to resolve them
- Collaborate with the 3rd Line Support Manager and other stakeholders to provide robust planning and execution against the assigned deliverables
- Provide frequent feedback and coaching to the staff in order to meet and exceed individual and team performance goals consistently
- Contribute to cross-team activities, such as the development of standards and processes, as well as ensuring compliance with these
- Build and promote a positive culture and working environment within the team and the organization
- Oversee development and unit testing of releases
- Collaborate closely with QA team for any test/UAT releases and agree the release target dates
- Keep the technical document and the project artifacts up to date
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- 1+ year of relevant leadership experience, ideally within the support domain
- Proficiency with databases and SQL skills using SQL Server, Sybase or other relevant database technologies
- Knowledge of Java and Cloud Native technologies on at least one of the cloud services providers (AWS preferable, Google Cloud or Azure)
- Experience in .NET Technologies, including C#
- Knowledge of unit and functional testing
- Experience with ITIL
- Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-moving environment where needs evolve rapidly and priorities change
- Upper-Intermediate level of English language proficiency
