Join our remote team as a highly skilled and motivated Commerce MACH Solutions Architect/Engineering Manager.

The role involves designing and implementing scalable, high-performance eCommerce solutions tailored to our clients' business needs. Your familiarity with eCommerce platforms, adherence to industry best practices, and engagement with emerging technologies will be crucial in fostering innovation and excellence in solution designs. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver, a brilliant communicator, and has a passion for delivering ingenious solutions.

Responsibilities
  • eCommerce solution architecture in line with client's business objectives, technical requirements, and industry standards
  • Development of architecture blueprints, technical specifications, and integration plans
  • Evaluation of eCommerce platforms, frameworks, and technologies for optimum solutions based upon the client's requirements, scalability, and performance considerations
  • Cross-functional team leadership providing technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle
  • Collaboration with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Designing and implementing integration solutions connecting eCommerce platforms with third-party systems, payment gateways, CRM systems, ERP systems, and other enterprise applications
  • Focus on optimizing eCommerce solutions for performance, scalability, and reliability
  • Implementation of sound security measures to safeguard eCommerce platforms against vulnerabilities, cyber threats, and data breaches
  • Adherence to industry regulations and standards such as PCI DSS and GDPR
  • Defining and implementation of quality assurance processes to ensure eCommerce solutions reliability, usability, and accessibility
  • Code review, performance testing, and user acceptance testing implementation to uphold high software quality standards
  • Preparation of technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and user guides for eCommerce solutions
  • Driving constant improvement initiatives to boost eCommerce development processes, tooling, and automation
  • Proactive identification of opportunities to augment system performance, enrich user experience, and streamline workflows
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 10 years of hands-on software development experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an eCommerce Solutions Architect or a related role
  • Proficiency in eCommerce platforms including Magento, Shopify, WooCommerce, or custom-built solutions
  • Specialization in platforms including CommerceTools, BigCommerce, Contentful, Contentstack
  • Comprehensive understanding of MACH architecture including headless commerce, microservices architecture, API-first approaches
  • Proficiency in programming languages including Java, JavaScript (Node.js), Python, Go
  • Familiarity with frontend frameworks and libraries including React.js, Angular, Vue.js
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and containerization technologies including Docker, Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, web services, and integration patterns for connecting eCommerce systems with external applications and services
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and trouble shooting skills in eCommerce environments
  • Fluency in English (Advanced level), possessing excellent verbal and written communication skills
