We are seeking a skilled Lead Vulnerability Management Engineer to take a pivotal role within the Security Operations team.

This role focuses on leading vulnerability management initiatives, ensuring vulnerabilities across our diverse technology environment are identified, prioritized, and addressed continuously. The position requires collaboration with various teams and contribution to broader Security Operations activities, such as detection, incident response, and security tools management.

Responsibilities
  • Lead vulnerability identification, assessment, and remediation efforts across diverse systems and platforms
  • Use tools such as Prisma, Rapid7, and Defender daily to conduct scanning and reporting activities
  • Maintain and operate scanning tools and cloud-native controls to monitor the security environment continuously
  • Collaborate with IT, network operations, application development, and compliance teams to resolve vulnerabilities
  • Offer expert advice on applying security patches, configurations, and mitigations for critical vulnerabilities
  • Conduct regular assessments and recommend actions to address identified security gaps
  • Analyze threat intelligence, advisories, and vulnerability data to stay updated on emerging risks
  • Ensure vulnerability management policies, procedures, and documentation adhere to industry best practices
  • Present vulnerability metrics, risk analysis, and trend insights to senior leadership
  • Handle vulnerabilities and potential exploitation incidents with speed and expertise
Requirements
  • 5+ years in vulnerability management, information security, or related fields, along with 7+ years of IT experience
  • 1+ years of leadership experience in a relevant area
  • Knowledge of scanning tools such as Prisma, Rapid7, Defender, Contrast, AWS Inspector, or Wiz
  • Expertise in vulnerability management frameworks, tools, and practices
  • Background in evaluating complex security challenges and communicating effectively with diverse audiences
  • Capability to balance multiple priorities, employ analytical thinking, and meet deadlines under pressure
  • Degree in cybersecurity or related fields, supported by industry certifications or equivalent expertise
