We are seeking a highly skilled Lead UX Designer to join our team remotely and drive the success of our client's user experience projects. As a key figure within the team, you will lead and inspire a group of talented professionals, enabling them to create industry-leading solutions for our clients. Your main focus will be on developing user journeys, user flows, and wireframes that highlight customer interactions throughout the end-to-end experience, as well as providing governance strategy and influencing the strategy for a project or product area by articulating a coherent UX vision based on clear, actionable problem/opportunity statements. You will also be responsible for working within existing customer experience success metrics for a project or product area, exploring diverse, novel perspectives and design directions, and evaluating concepts using appropriate methods to determine the strongest.
- Lead and mentor the UX Design team, fostering a culture of growth and continuous learning within the group
- Develop and maintain effective UX Design processes and practices that focus on innovation, efficiency, and customer-centricity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality user experience solutions in line with project goals and timelines
- Provide governance strategy and influence the strategy for a project or product area by articulating a coherent UX vision based on clear, actionable problem/opportunity statements
- Work within existing customer experience success metrics for a project or product area, exploring diverse, novel perspectives and design directions, and evaluating concepts using appropriate methods to determine the strongest
- Confidently facilitate idea generation with stakeholders and demonstrate mastery of common visual and interaction design principles and practice
- Bring together different stakeholders with varied perspectives to identify opportunities to align goals and increase efficiency across organizational boundaries
- Actively seek diverse feedback on design work and anticipate feedback to address it proactively
- Tailor communications (content focus, style, format, etc.) for different audiences as appropriate
- Apply and adapt design and research processes to fit the needs of the project
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a UX Designer, working on large-scale projects and complex systems
- At least 1 year of demonstrated leadership experience, successfully managing and inspiring a team of UX Designers
- Proven track record of leading and implementing full-cycle design and architecture projects from scratch or participating in multiple projects across different stages of the development lifecycle
- Expertise in Content Strategy & Design, Design Documentation, Experience Strategy, Prototyping, Visual Communication, Wireframing, and Project Management
- Strong understanding of design processes, enabling effective management of design projects
- Confident in facilitating idea generation with stakeholders and demonstrating mastery of common visual and interaction design principles and practice
- Ability to bring together different stakeholders with varied perspectives to identify opportunities to align goals and increase efficiency across organizational boundaries
- Excellent organizational and structuring abilities, promoting the efficient delivery of projects
- Advanced English language skills (Upper-Intermediate level), allowing for effective written and spoken collaboration and active participation in meetings and discussions with the team and stakeholders
- Experience working with remote teams and collaborating with stakeholders in different time zones
- Experience with data-driven design, leveraging data and insights from research and other customer data sources to develop empathy and insights about customers
- Experience with agile methodologies, enabling effective management of design sprints, MVP launch, and scaling the solution then operating and optimizing the experience
