We are seeking a Lead UX Designer to join our remote team. As a member of our team, you'll play a critical role in defining and delivering experience strategies for our customers. You'll use human-centered design methods to co-create and test solutions that address real customer challenges, ultimately delivering high-quality, user-friendly experiences. You'll work closely with a talented team of designers, developers, and stakeholders, and you'll have the opportunity to shape and influence the user experience of our products and services.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the team of designers
  • Define and deliver experience strategy, leveraging human-centered design methods to co-create and test solutions that address real customer challenges
  • Develop user journeys and user flows that highlight customer interactions throughout an end-to-end experience
  • Provide wireframes for concept and prototype to be used for user research
  • Create detailed visual and UX design supporting tactical efforts
  • Provide governance strategy, influencing strategy for a project or product area by articulating a coherent UX vision based on clear, actionable problem/opportunity statements
  • Explore diverse, novel perspectives and design directions by default, and evaluate concepts using appropriate methods to determine the strongest
  • Confidently facilitate idea generation with stakeholders, bringing together different stakeholders with varied perspectives to identify opportunities to align goals and increase efficiency across organizational boundaries
  • Consistently create clear and compelling materials and narratives explaining design rationale to team and stakeholders using customer, business or competitive insights
  • Bring the experience to life through implementation - working through content creation, detailed design sprints, MVP launch, and scaling the solution then operating and optimizing the experience
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in UX design, with a strong foundation in content strategy and design, wireframing, visual communication, and design processes
  • 1+ years experience in a lead UX designer role, with a proven track record of success in delivering high-quality, user-friendly experiences
  • Demonstrated experience in developing user journeys and user flows that highlight customer interactions throughout an end-to-end experience
  • Experience in prototyping to be used for user research, and detailed visual and UX design supporting tactical efforts
  • Expertise in design documentation, enabling efficient communication with the team and stakeholders
  • Strong experience in experience strategy, with the ability to articulate a coherent UX vision based on clear, actionable problem/opportunity statements
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, demonstrating excellent communication and coordination skills
  • Advanced English language skills (Upper-Intermediate level)
Nice to have
  • Experience in conducting user research and usability testing, providing valuable insights to improve the user experience
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies, enabling efficient collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS and JavaScript, facilitating seamless integration with the backend systems
  • Experience in designing for mobile platforms, providing valuable insights into responsive design and mobile-first thinking
