Lead Systems Engineer

Amazon Web Services, AWS Fargate, Containerization, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Grafana

We are seeking an experienced Lead Systems Engineer to design, provision, configure, and maintain secure, scalable, highly available, and complex cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Cloud Engineering and be proficient in AWS Fargate, Containerization, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and Grafana.

Responsibilities

Design cloud infrastructure that is secure, scalable, and highly available on AWS
Work collaboratively with software engineering to define infrastructure and deployment requirements
Provision, configure and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure defined as code
Ensure configuration and compliance with configuration management tools
Troubleshoot problems across a wide array of services and functional areas
Build and maintain operational tools for deployment, monitoring, and analysis of AWS infrastructure and systems

Requirements

5+ years of experience building and maintaining AWS infrastructure (VPC, EC2, Security Groups, IAM)
Strong understanding of how to secure AWS environments and meet compliance requirements
3+ years of experience with Containerization and Orchestration with Kubernetes, Lambda, ECS/Fargate
Hands-on experience deploying and managing infrastructure with Kubernetes
Solid foundation of networking and Linux/Windows administration
Experience with Docker, GitHub, Jenkins, ELK and deploying applications on AWS
Experience with Grafana
1+ years of leadership experience
