Automated Testing in .NET
We are seeking an experienced Lead Software Test Automation Engineer to act as a subject matter expert within Software, System, and Test Engineering.
You will work in Newtown, PA and various long-term unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S.
Responsibilities
- Test software programs
- Make decisions, establish, follow and enhance test automation process from scratch without supervision
- Develop and maintain reliable high-quality automated reusable tests, increase test coverage while ensuring application functionality, integrity and consistency
- Proactively drive continuous improvement to test processes, test coverage, test cases quality/ maintenance and test execution
- Lead and coach distributed test automation engineering teams. Perform quality review and analysis
- Coordinate the creation of new and elaboration of existing manual and automated test suites, utilizing different programming languages, frameworks and tools
- Identify, analyze, and document problems
- Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Telecommunications Engineering, Electronics, Mathematics, Physics, Management Information Systems, Cybernetics, IT Management, Radiophysics, or closely related discipline
- 30+ months of employment experience in the job offered (Lead Software Test Automation Engineer), Software Test Automation Engineer, Software Testing Engineer, DevOps Engineer, QA Engineer, QA Test Automation Engineer, Developer, or closely related occupation
- At least one of the following: .NET, Java, JavaScript, Python, Swift, or Kotlin
- At least one of the following testing tools/frameworks: Appium, Cucumber, Pytest, Rest Assured, Selenium, or JUnit
- At least one of the following cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Using Docker or RESTful environments to increase test coverage while ensuring application functionality, integrity, and consistency
- Using Git, Jira, or Confluence to document software defects in a bug tracking system and report them to software developers
