We are seeking an experienced SAP Lead Software Engineer with deep expertise in SAP Analytics Cloud for planning (SAC-P) and a solid background in SAP BW, HANA, and data visualization technologies to design, develop, and deliver interactive, user-centric analytics solutions that drive actionable insights across enterprise functions.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of SAC dashboards, stories, and analytical applications
- Define architecture and implement best practices for scalable and performant SAC planning applications
- Integrate SAC with SAP BW, BW/4HANA, S/4HANA, and other data sources
- Build and maintain data models, including Live/Import connections, CDS views, and Calculation Views
- Optimize dashboard performance and user experience across analytics platforms
- Apply SAC scripting logic to enhance analytical applications
- Mentor technical teams and lead delivery within Agile project environments
- Establish data governance, security, and authorization concepts across analytics solutions
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and developers to align reporting solutions with business objectives
- Translate business requirements into clear, consistent, and usable analytics deliverables
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with SAP data platforms
- Expertise in SAP Analytics Cloud, including Story Design, Analytical Applications, and Planning
- Proficiency in SAP BW, BW/4HANA, S/4HANA, and HANA models
- Skills in data modeling and connectivity, including Live/Import connections, CDS views, and Calculation Views
- Knowledge of SAC scripting using JavaScript-based logic
- Background in Agile project leadership and team mentoring
- Understanding of data governance, security, and authorization concepts
- Competency in stakeholder collaboration and requirement translation
