We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer to architect and deliver innovative full-stack solutions, leveraging .NET, Azure, and React while driving the adoption of AI-native development practices within a collaborative engineering team.

Responsibilities
  • Design and architect scalable full stack solutions using .NET, Azure and React
  • Lead the technical delivery of user stories from estimation through implementation and deployment
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements
  • Create technical artifacts and documentation to support solution design and development
  • Guide and mentor a team of engineers throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Integrate AI-native practices into the software development lifecycle
  • Implement agentic solutions using Microsoft AI tools
  • Develop and maintain backend systems, including SQL-based data solutions
  • Utilize Microsoft Azure services such as Functions and Durable Functions to build cloud-based solutions
Requirements
  • 9+ years of experience as a full stack engineer with expertise in .NET, Azure and React
  • Strong background in backend development, including SQL
  • Proficiency in architectural design and solution planning
  • Experience leading teams and managing stakeholder communication throughout the development process
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure services, including Functions and Durable Functions
  • Familiarity with AI SDLC practices
  • Understanding of agentic solution implementation using Microsoft tools
Nice to have
  • Knowledge of the Insurance value chain, specifically from submission to policy issuance, including quoting and binding
  • Familiarity with specialty products in Excess lines such as Excess Casualty, Professional Liability, Medical Liability, Products and Contractors
  • Background in Actuarial reserving
