Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot
- Design the architecture and implement microservices-based solutions on cloud platforms
- Create and integrate RESTful APIs that bridge backend services and frontend applications
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ship scalable and maintainable solutions
- Conduct code reviews and provide technical direction to engineers
- Contribute to architecture choices to ensure quality, security, reliability, and compliance
- Follow Agile and DevOps best practices throughout the software development lifecycle
- Oversee CI/CD pipelines and support continuous delivery processes
- Investigate and fix complex technical problems across the application stack
- Operate services using containerization and orchestration tooling for deployment and management
Requirements
- Proven 5+ years of professional experience in design and development using Java 21, Quarkus, and Java/JEE
- Advanced experience with Spring Boot, Spring Security, and JUnit
- Hands-on experience with Oracle, Sybase, and PL/SQL in relational database environments
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture along with Azure Cloud and Serverless patterns
- In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes, including pods, containers, services, and Istio
- Practical exposure to Docker and Redis for packaging and caching
- Solid skills in RESTful APIs and backend-to-frontend integration
- Experience with Git/GitLab CI/CD pipelines and Agile delivery
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline
Nice to have
- Understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and React (including Hooks) UI technologies
- Knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript
- Exposure to performance tuning and DevOps
- Capability to translate UX designs into responsive, scalable, maintainable UI solutions aligned to standards and patterns
