We are recruiting a skilled and motivated Lead ServiceNow Developer to contribute to the development of platform solutions focused on Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and related functionalities.
This role will involve designing, configuring, and integrating CMDB systems in alignment with the Common Service Data Model (CSDM), leveraging Discovery, Service Mapping, and integrations with cloud and on-premises systems.
The position requires extensive qualifications in CI lifecycle automation, Discovery patterns, service modeling, and data ingestion from diverse infrastructure sources.
Responsibilities
- Design scalable CMDB systems structured according to CSDM guidelines
- Optimize ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping to ensure precise CI data and relationships
- Define class models, transform maps, reconciliation strategies, and lifecycle workflows for CI automation
- Coordinate integrations with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure, alongside systems including SCCM, Active Directory, and vCenter
- Maintain CMDB data integrity using Health frameworks, normalization standards, and duplicate detection tools
- Troubleshoot Discovery inconsistencies, data anomalies, and integration-related errors
- Document CMDB architectures, Discovery setups, and integration frameworks systematically
- Utilize scripting and Flow Designer functionality to enhance workflows while staying informed of platform upgrades
Requirements
- Background in ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping
- Familiarity with Common Service Data Model (CSDM) and CI hierarchy structures
- Understanding of integrations with cloud environments (AWS, Azure) and on-prem systems such as SCCM, Active Directory, and virtualization tools
- Proficiency in JavaScript, REST/SOAP APIs, and configuring MID Servers
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure including virtualization, networks, servers, and cloud platforms
- Competency in resolving technical complexities within multifaceted IT ecosystems
- Effective communication skills in English, with demonstrated ability to collaborate across distributed teams
- ServiceNow certifications like CMDB, Discovery, or App Developer are desirable

- Skills in managing extensive CMDB hierarchies tied to large-scale data environments
- Expertise in advanced scripting practices for automating ServiceNow processes
