We are looking for a skilled and motivated Lead ServiceNow Developer to drive the implementation of platform solutions focused on the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and its related functionalities.

In this position, you will contribute significantly to the design, configuration, and integration of CMDB, adhering to the Common Service Data Model (CSDM) with enhancements through Discovery, Service Mapping, and integration with cloud and on-premises systems.

This role requires deep expertise in CI lifecycle automation, Discovery patterns, service modeling, and data ingestion from a variety of infrastructure sources.

Responsibilities
  • Develop a scalable, service-aware CMDB in alignment with CSDM standards
  • Optimize ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping to capture accurate CI data and dependencies
  • Create class models, transform maps, reconciliation rules, and processes for automating CI lifecycles
  • Plan integrations with cloud platforms like AWS and Azure and on-prem systems such as SCCM, Active Directory, and vCenter
  • Ensure high CMDB data quality by utilizing CMDB Health frameworks, normalization rules, and duplicate detection tools
  • Analyze and resolve challenges related to Discovery jobs, data inconsistencies, and integration issues
  • Document CMDB models, Discovery configurations, and integration frameworks in a structured manner
  • Use scripting and Flow Designer tools to refine workflows while adapting to platform enhancements
Requirements
  • Background in working with ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping
  • Familiarity with the Common Service Data Model (CSDM) and CI class structures
  • Understanding of integration points with cloud systems (AWS, Azure) and on-prem systems (SCCM, Active Directory, virtualization platforms)
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, REST/SOAP APIs, and MID Server installation and upkeep
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure domains, including servers, networks, virtualization, and cloud technologies
  • Competency in resolving technical issues within complex IT ecosystems
  • Strong communication skills in English with the ability to collaborate across global teams
  • ServiceNow certifications in CMDB, Discovery, or App Developer are a plus

  • Competency in managing and maintaining intricate CMDB hierarchies featuring large-scale datasets
  • Background in utilizing advanced scripting strategies to enhance ServiceNow automation
  • Familiarity with best practices in tracking CI lifecycles and asset management
