We are looking for a skilled and motivated Lead ServiceNow Developer to deliver platform solutions focused on the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and its related features.
In this position, you will take an active role in crafting, configuring, and integrating the CMDB aligned with the Common Service Data Model (CSDM), leveraging tools like Discovery, Service Mapping, and integrations with both cloud and on-premises systems.
This technical role requires significant expertise in CI lifecycle automation, Discovery patterns, service modeling, and ingesting data from various infrastructure sources.
Responsibilities
- Design a scalable and service-aware CMDB compliant with CSDM standards
- Configure and fine-tune ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping to ensure accurate CI data and relationship integrity
- Develop class models, transformation maps, reconciliation policies, and lifecycle processes supporting CI automation
- Plan integrations with cloud ecosystems such as AWS and Azure, alongside on-prem infrastructure including SCCM, Active Directory, and vCenter
- Maintain CMDB data quality using frameworks such as CMDB Health, normalization rules, and duplicate detection tools
- Identify and resolve issues with Discovery operations, data discrepancies, and failed integrations
- Draft clear documentation for CMDB architectures, Discovery configurations, and integrated frameworks
- Use scripting and Flow Designer to enhance workflows and track platform advancements
Requirements
- Background in ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping
- Familiarity with Common Service Data Model (CSDM) and CI class hierarchies
- Understanding of cloud system integrations (AWS, Azure) and on-prem systems (SCCM, Active Directory, virtualization tools)
- Proficiency in JavaScript, REST/SOAP APIs, and managing MID Server installations
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure, including servers, networking, virtualization, and cloud platforms
- Competency in resolving technical complexities within intricate IT systems
- Effective English communication skills with the capability to work across globally dispersed teams
- ServiceNow certifications such as CMDB, Discovery, or App Developer are a plus

- Expertise in handling large-scale CMDB hierarchies with extensive data environments
- Skills in advanced scripting techniques for automating ServiceNow processes
- Understanding of best practices for CI lifecycles and efficient asset tracking
